In the past few hours, Remedy has stated that the development of Alan Wake 2 is proceeding as planned and that the game will not be postponed: therefore confirmed the release in 2023, let’s find out all the details together
As far as the horror genre is concerned, 2023 was a great start in the gaming arena. In fact, if we consider only these first months of the year we were able to get our hands on the remake of Dead Space and, very soon, Resident Evil 4 Remake will also be available. but fans of the genre will certainly not be bored in the coming months. And one of the most anticipated games (and perhaps the longest awaited) to be released this year is, definitely, Alan Wake 2. Everyone’s fear is now always the same: will it be postponed? Apparently, Remedy put his face on it.
The company had confirmed, about a year ago, that the game was in full production and, last October, that it would be released during 2023, without ever specifying a real release window. In a recent tax report, Remedy confirmed what it said about six months ago: development is progressing well and the game will be ready for launch this year.

Alan Wake 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2010 psychological thriller released by Epic Games, is in full development. In 2022 the game was forming adequately in every respect and will be ready for launch in 2023.
A confirmation that adds to the news from the beginning of the year, when Remedy said that Alan Wake 2 is playable from start to finish and therefore it seems to be official: no postponement!
