Recently on Twitter some of the writers of Remedy Entertainment released updates on the story of Alan Wake 2
Remedy Entertainment is finally working on Alan Wake 2, the sequel he had intended to develop for over a decade and which has only now become a “tangible” reality. As the developer’s first full-fledged survival horror game, the game is shaping up to be a major milestone for Remedy, which is just one of the many reasons why so many players are waiting so intensely for the launch of the title in question, and it also appears that the developers who work there are as excited as the community. In the last few hours, important details have emerged about the history from Alan Wake 2let’s see them together.
Alan Wake 2: the words of the writers on the story
Most recently, Remedy’s Sam Lake, writer and creative director of Alan Wake 2shared a brief update on the game’s development, specifically the process of writing the history. Lake said he and lead writer Clay Murphy wrote more pages for the game together than any other game in the past and called his story “a monster.” After a summer break, the writing team will apparently return to continue their work, so there is still a lot to do on that front as well.
Earlier this year, Remedy Entertainment confirmed that Alan Wake 2 has joined full production, though the developer has also stated that it won’t be sharing any new updates on the game this summer, so don’t expect a new trailer or gameplay reveal in the coming months. The title will be released in 2023 per PS5, Xbox Series X/S e PC.
