Among the trends of the Chinese New Year there is also one growth of 345% for the sale of ready meals at the Freshippo high-tech supermarket and 100% on Taobao compared to last year. Noteworthy is the + 874% growth in searches for the term tiger on the Tmall and Taobao platforms during the Spring Festival. Another trend highlighted by Alibaba is the doubling of sales of smart and energy-saving appliances.
