Alice, Darling arrives at the cinema: here is the release date!
Alice, Darling, in fact, tells the story of Alice (played by an intense Anna Kendrick), a young woman victim of an abusive relationship, in which she is psychologically abused by her boyfriend Simon (Charlie Carrick). After a vacation with friends, Alice realizes that she has to break away from that “sick” relationship and find herself again. But Simon’s revenge is just around the corner and will test Alice’s strength. In this film Anna Kendrick gives the viewer a magnetic performance, drawing them into a subtle and nuanced story about coercion and control. Alice, Darling is a compelling story but it is also and above all a story of resilience and female empowerment.
