Apple announced that iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus will not receive iOS 17. This means that the 2017 models will not be able to take advantage of the new features of the operating system. Apple maintained support for the same devices from iOS 13 to iOS 15, but has now excluded those with A11 processor or lower. iPhone X was the first smartphone with an OLED screen and FaceID, but now it will have to settle for iOS 16.
