When two CIA agents and former lovers (Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton) get together to investigate a terrorist hijacking, they realize that all is not as it seems. In this dark and mysterious thriller, they have to decide who they can trust and who has been compromised. The story is taken from the novel of the same name by the American writer Olen Steinhauer, who has returned to revisit his work by collaborating with the film production for the drafting of the screenplay.
The director of the film is the Danish Janus Metz, who already directed Borg McEnroe in 2017 and some episodes of True Detective and ZeroZeroZero. The cast includes, in addition to Chris Pine and Thandie Newton, Laurence Fishburne, Jonathan Pryce, Corey Johnson, David Bedella and Colin Stinton.
Chris Pine will be part of the cast of Don’t Worry Darling, a film by Olivia Wilde due out in the fall of 2022 in the United States. As for Thandie Newton, we hope to see her as soon as possible in the fourth season of Westworld.
