Milan Games Week & Cartoomics 2022: the Studios pavilion
Il Studios pavilion will host a “neighboring galaxy” that brings the public into direct contact with major groups and related communities dedicated to hugely successful series such as Star Wars, Assassin’s Creed, Avengers, Star Trek, Resident Evil and many others. Star Wars costuming groups are back too. Let’s talk about the 501st Italica Garrisonthe Rebel Legion Italian Basel’Ori’Cetar Clan and the Saber Guildwith the little ones of the Galactic Academy. Everyone will be present with their magnificent costumes, perfect replicas of those used on film sets or created for video games and animated series.
The experience will be made even more immersive by the set set up by the Galaxy Association. Here imperials and rebels will be able to parade alongside a walker AT-ST in Royal flush under the stern gaze of the almighty Jabba The Hutt. Fans will be able to alternate between taking a selfie with Darth Vadera lesson by includes a laser and a verse contest with chewbeccosi con… well con Chewbacca in person”.
Not just Star Wars though. For those who want to dive into a post-zombie apocalyptic world, there will be an area dedicated to Resident Evil set up byUmbrella Italian Division. Here you will be able to witness live show during which battles with zombies are staged. In this regard: there will also be a interactive game themed, and horror lovers will have a ‘horrifying area, completely open to visitors.
Other themed areas include the Avengers Academy (set up and animated by the association Marvel Avengers Team Italia); Fantasy Village (prepared by the association The fortress); an exhibition space dedicated to science fiction-themed LEGO creations (set up by BRICKOOMICS by AFDL.it) e Space Srtwhich thanks to the artist Franco Brambilla will host numerous drawings and works related to the world of science fiction, including covers of the highly acclaimed Urania series.
Finally, the cosplayers will be happy to know that it will also be there Assassin’s Creed Cosplay Italia – with costumes reproduced in detail from the legendary saga of the Assassins.
