Twitch: Amazon bans one of its Prime Video accounts
It seems that you can’t go a week without hearing of some kind of drama on Twitch. Whether it’s streamers getting banned for their language or other weird events, the controversy never ends. Sometimes, the drama is so strange that even we talk about it.
The latest oddity of Twitch, owned by Amazon, comes to us from Spain and from the official channel Prime Video of Amazon in Spanish. Yesterday, during the show Esto es un LATE, comedian and presenter Henar Álvarez briefly exposed her nipple just before the show ends.
The presenter said: “Vamos que nos banean” (“Let’s be banned”), while lifting her blouse, partially exposing herself.
Twitch – which, again, is owned by Amazon – has very clear guidelines when it comes to nudity and dropped the prohibition hammer On the canal Prime Video Spain within a few hours. The channel has now been restored but Spanish Twitter is having a field day.
In an ironic response to a Spanish-language tweet from Prime Video España that said, “And now how am I going to explain this to my bosses ?, Álvarez tweeted:“ Tell them I promise that from now on I will always wear a bra to conduct the show. I’m so sorry, I made a mistake and it won’t happen again ”.
There doesn’t seem to be many consequences from the scandal, aside from the massive publicity for the show. The ban lasted less than 24 hours and has already been revoked.
