Amazon will launch Prime Air drone delivery service
The Amazon service continues to be enriched, which, in the USA, will deliver packages with drones, through the noPrime Air service egg. For the time being, this is an experimental service that will only go into action in the city of Lockerford, California. For customers there will be the opportunity to benefit from free delivery.
Delivery via Amazon drones providesarrival of the package directly to the delivery address. The package will be delivered by the drone from safe heights. The drone, once delivered, will fly away to return “to base”. Amazon has confirmed that it has created a system that can detect obstacles during the flight and ensure deliveries in safety.
On the issue of safety, Amazon underlines: “We have designed our detection system for two main scenarios: to be safe in transit and to be safe when approaching the ground”. We will see if and when the service will also arrive in Europe and Italy.
