AMD – on Thursday 18 November 2021 – released Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.11.3, which offers Day-0 support and performance optimizations for this week’s DirectX 12 Microsoft Flight Simulator update.
Microsoft Flight Simulator players can now enjoy an incredible gaming experience with the Radeon RX 6900 XT using DirectX 12, thanks to high framerates, sharp images and all the most powerful tools they need to sail the skies, such as Radeon Image Sharpening and Radeon Anti-Lag.

Support for:
– Microsoft Flight Simulator™: “Game of the Year” edition
– Farming Simulator 22™
– Vulkan® expansions.
Troubleshooting for:
– Users who have experienced game disconnections or crashes in the past while playing Battlefield on certain products such as AMD Graphics such as Radeon ™ RX 6900 XT Graphics.
– Users who have experienced game disconnections or crashes in the past while “playing” DayZ, on certain products such as AMD Graphics such as Radeon ™ RX 5700 XT Graphics.
– Users who have detected excessive disk space occupied by the Athena Dumps media folder.
Known Issues
– Timeouts or crashes for products such as AMD Graphics such as Radeon ™ RX 5500 XT Graphics, compared to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy gameplay. Workaround: Disable the Radeon ™ Anti-Lag feature in the Radeon ™ software;
– Visual impact issues on products such as AMD Graphics such as Radeon ™ RX 6800M Graphics when playing Call of Duty;
– Within PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, with multiple displays connected in extended mode, the Radeon ™ software may become unresponsive. Solution: Press the Alt + R keys simultaneously to facilitate synchronization.
– Radeon performance metrics and login capabilities may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect and incorrect memory values.
AMD Link known issues with Windows
When streaming with HEVC, on certain configurations via an Internet connection, you may experience problems with intermittent gray frames. Solution: Alternate use of an AVC encoding setting.
