Epic Store Games: Amnesia: Rebirth and Riverbond for free next week
Just yesterday Epic Store Games made XCOM 2 and Insurmountable available for free. But it is certainly not over, because the announcement of the two titles for next week arrives today. These are two very different games, suitable for all tastes. The first is Amnesia: Rebirth, the third installment of the Amnesia horror franchise, while the other is Riverbond, a fun and decidedly more carefree cooperative adventure. Both will be free on the Epic Games Store from April 21st.
Amnesia: Rebirth is a horror game developed by Frictional Games, described as a “harrowing journey through desolation and despair, exploring the limits of human resilience”. Players will take on the role of Tasi Trianon, who wakes up deep in the Algerian desert without remembering where she has been or what she has been doing in the last few days. Fragments of Tasi’s past will need to be pieced together to survive the horror that surrounds her.
Riverbond is instead a videogame developed by Cococucumber and looks like a co-op up to 4 players set in a voxel world. Players will meet sympathetic and affable characters, but also deadly bosses who will have to be faced and torn apart thanks to a wide range of weapons available.
