AOC has launched a new gaming monitor with the Agon Pro brand, the PD32M let’s find out in detail
the PD32M was designed in collaboration with Porsche Designwhich for reasons of clarity is not the same company as the house automotive. The PD32M is based on a display mini-LED gives 32 4K 144Hz frameless. It has a Display certification HDR 1400with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. It is also said to offer the 97 percent of color space DCI-P3, which would make it a decent display for work and play. The display supports AdaptiveSyncbut no details have been provided on which version of the standard is used.
Agon Pro PD32M: connectivity side
There are one couple of doors HDMI 2.1a DisplayPortvariety 1.4a USB-C, and four more USBs. For a total of 5 doors. A door 3.2 (most likely 10 Gbps) it’s a jack for headphones. Based on the image of the back of the PD32M, there appear to be a couple of additional jacks from 3,5 mm and another door of unknown type on the back. It is also clear from this image that an external power brick is used, though AOC has not provided any details in this regard.
Agon Pro PD32M: led Light FX
Each side of the display appears to be equipped with a hook for headphones. The rear of the display has a sort of arrangement of the LED that AOC calls Light FX. The PD32M also sports a pair of speakers gives 8 Watt who carry a certification DTS. Perhaps the most interesting feature is the wireless remote controlwhich allows you to change the display settings without reaching the back of the display.
As with many gaming monitors, the support it looks excessively large and is likely to occupy Very desk space, but the display can at least be rotated and the stand is adjustable in height. There is also a logo Porsche Design illuminated at the base of the stand. The selling price is 1.799$ (equal to 1655,53 euro) probably means that it’s a monitor with a base of customers a lot limitedof which it is probable that some are due to the partner design. The PD32M has a ship date from June 15but it can be pre-ordered Now.
