Respawn Entertainment launched Apex Legends: Escape, the next major update for their award-winning hero shooter. Escape introduces Storm Step, the game’s fourth and largest map to date, Ash, the deadly simulacrum Legend, the CAR SMG, a fan favorite weapon of Titanfall and more for a journey that Apex Games competitors they will not forget.

It looks like respawn has a long line of exciting content in store for us in the near future, starting with Apex Legends: Escape. The update is already available now, here are all the news it should introduce:
- New map – Storm Pass: Passo della Tempesta looks tempting, but the pristine beaches and crystal clear waters are just the eye of the storm. Teeming with savage Prowlers and a new type of enemy swarm, poisonous spiders, the accumulating storms only add to the tension in the air. The Legends have arrived and will find new ways to travel through the different points of interest on the map, which include island clusters, jungle complexes, and a base nestled in a giant mountain that marks the highest position in any Apex Legends map up to today..
- New Legend – Ash: A simulacrum done by the woman who was once Dr. Ashleigh Reid, Ash locates death wherever he goes, skewering enemies with electric traps that lock them in place, slashing space to take more lives. It would be easy to think that there is nothing human in that cold steel anymore.
- New weapon – CAR SMG: A fantastic and ferocious weapon, the CAR SMG is capable of firing both light and heavy ammunition. The Combat Advanced Round machine gun is fully automatic and offers a decent amount of recoil, as some players may have experienced in other parts of the Titanfall universe.
- Battle Pass: Survive in style with the Escape Battle Pass which features new legendary skins including Mirage of the Desert and For the Glory of Gibraltar. New music packs, loading screens, amulets, holosprays and phrases also allow players to customize the Apex Legends experience.
