It seems like a throwback to the 90s, when flip phones were all the rage, but apparently also Apple has decided to adapt to the trend of other manufacturers and could launch the primo foldable of the series iPhone with full touch edges.

Apple is probably one of the very few manufacturers left around that hasn’t yet experimented with its own foldable smartphone.
This decision has also cost in terms of teasing from Samsung or experiments thanks to the fusion of an iPhone with a Motorola Times. Yet very soon things could radically change, prompting Apple to launch its first foldable on the market within the next few years.
It all started with a patent (“Electronic Devices With Display And Touch Sensor Structures“) recently filed by Apple itself atUnited States Patent and Trademark Office. Within the documentation there are some hints at what the first leaflet of the multinational might look like.
Specifically, the Apple foldable should completely eliminate the key components, making it that way completely touchincluding edges.
This innovative structure would make the foldable iPhone purely ideal for taking pictures but also for gaming. Being touch at 360 degrees, in fact, would allow a new way of understanding the telephone, starting from the handle and the possibility of using all the fingers.
As for the materials they could be opaque and transparent and be composed of opaque plastic, metal, composite fibers and even ceramics.
It is not yet known when and if Apple will actually launch its foldable iPhone. What is certain is that this news undermines what Samsung’s assumptions were last year. In fact, the South Korean company had foreseen the launch of the first folding Apple device by 2024however indicating it in the aspect of an iPad and a MacBook fused together.
