Good news for developers. Just a week after the new build was launched, Apple is now releasing the beta 3 di iOS 15.5, iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6 and tvOS 15.5. This means that interested parties can download it immediately by accessing the Apple Developer Center, and using an OTA update after installing a profile on iOS devices. But let’s find out something more in detail.
As we already reported some time ago, iOS 15.5 focuses mostly on bug fix, as well as the addition of some generic improvements. For the moment, it has not yet been clarified what this is, but it seems that the update contains support for Apple Pay to the Bancomat and Bancontact circuits. Added to this is the change in the name of the card “iTunes Pass” to “Apple Account Card“, Made available in the Wallet for user purchases. In short, many interesting updates, which perhaps developers will be able to see already in the beta 3 of iOS 15.5.
How to use it? First of all, by installing the beta in OTA mode from the system settings menu on iOS. But only after downloading the profiles available on the Apple Developer Center and on the beta testers reference site. In this regard, it is important to remember that for successful installation it is necessary to have the iPhone with a charge of 20%. If not, we strongly suggest you connect your phone to the charger. At this point, therefore, you just have to proceed with the installation of the beta of iOS 15.5. Only by trying it, in fact, you will know what are the innovations introduced by Apple.
