From today, Tesla vehicle owners can also listen to their favorite music with Apple Music. The popular carmaker owned by Elon Musk has indeed added support for Apple’s music streaming service, as part of thesoftware Christmas update (2022.44.25). The same update also offers the possibility of aAccess the entire Steam video game catalog directly from cars.
Here’s how to link your Apple Music account to Tesla vehicles
The announcement came with a notification on Tesla owner apps. In the attached post it also explains how to sign in to your Apple Music account:
“Stream over 100 million songs and 30,000 playlists ad-free. Listen to your entire library, discover new music and tune in to live radio stations. To sign in to Apple Music, tap the Apple Music icon in the Launcher, scan the QR code with your mobile device, and sign in with your Apple ID.”
We remind you that to activate the support it is necessary to update the vehicle app to the most recent version.
Playing in the car? It’s possible: Steam comes to Tesla vehicles
The update to version 2022.44.25 also introduces Steam support. Video game fans can now connect their Steam account to the on-board computer of Tesla vehicles and play their favorite titles on the go. You can play both via controller and with mouse and keyboard (even if it seems decidedly uncomfortable).
