All ready for the launch of Apple Watch Pro, the new smartphone dedicated to extreme sports enthusiasts. In this regard, recently Mark Gurman let slip that the company has developed exclusive straps and dials for its new wearable. Let’s go and see what it is.
Apple Watch Pro: Exclusive bands and watch faces for extreme sports
In a recent tweet, Gurman said that “there will be a new set of bands for the Apple Watch Pro that is quite large, and it will play on the theme of extreme sports”. In other words, consumers willing to buy Apple’s new wearable will have access to a range of completely exclusive straps. At the moment, it’s unclear what design – or look – they’ll have, but the company is likely to choose to follow a similar approach to that taken in the straps made in collaboration with Nike. Or with Hermès.
This isn’t covered in the CAD drawings, but the new set of bands for the Apple Watch Pro is going to be pretty wide ranging and play into the extreme sports theme. There will also be some pretty info dense faces for fitness metrics. https://t.co/jSD0KZGe1b

Also, Gurman has stated that they will be there new dials designed exclusively for the Pro model, which they will show to users detailed information on fitness. And if this rumor were true, it wouldn’t be the first time Apple has been designing new watch faces for a specific Apple Watch model. The cellular versions of the Apple Watch, for example, are the only ones to have a face called “Explorer”. And the Nike and Hermès watch faces are exclusive to some very specific models of Apple’s smartwatch. From what we know, therefore, the exclusive straps and dials will be just some of the novelties of the Apple Watch Pro.
The details regarding the design are also very interesting. The new wearable, in fact, should have one larger 47 mm case is one flat screen without curved edges. To these details should also be added a third new side button. According to Gurman, this new button is “programmable” so that the user can set different actions, such as opening a specific App, starting a workout or any other action within an App. The Digital Crown also looks quite different from that of current Apple Watch models, but it’s still unclear whether this will allow for new software features. Finally, it would appear that the Apple Watch Pro can be built in titanium. A detail that adds considerable resistance to the wearable, in combination with the flat screen.
