Apple is investigating a bug that could be causing the iPhone 14 Pro model lock and Pro Max after users have transferred their data to it from an older iPhone. So reveals MacRumors on the basis of an internal note obtained by the Cupertino company. So let’s find out what is the solution that Apple has come up with for a problem that is beginning to worry the new owners of the iPhone.
iPhone 14 Pro: Apple working on locking the device after data transfers
The iPhone 14 Pro models seem to encounter quite a few problems during initialization. In a note published by MacRumors, in fact, it would seem that Apple claims to be “aware of this problem”, which it “is investigating”. Notably, the Cupertino-based company says some customers may find their new iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max models freezing and unresponsive. after an iCloud reset. Or after a data transfer from their previous iPhone during the quick boot process.
As a workaround, Apple recommends customers to force restart on your iPhone if it is unresponsive for more than five minutes. On the other hand, new iPhone 14 Pro customers have already faced a similar problem last Friday, regarding the activation of the device. On that occasion, in fact, the Cupertino company released the update iOS 16.0.1, which new users should install after setting up their new devices. At this point, we wait for Apple to fix this bug as well. Yet another, apparently.
