The Persona series is experiencing a period of great popularity, especially thanks to the great success it has enjoyed Person 5, the latest chapter in the JRPG saga of Atlus. Now, according to a new rumor, the software house would be ready to bring Person 3 and person 4 on consoles, after launching the fourth chapter on PC, a year ago now. Here’s what we know.
Are Persona 3 and 4 coming to consoles?
The insider who spread the rumor is Zippo, a user with a good record of successful leaks. The leaker seems convinced that Atlus is preparing to bring Persona 3 and 4 to consoles in 2022, although at the moment it has not yet mentioned a precise time window.
Among the consoles in which these two chapters of the series will arrive figure Nintendo Switch and it is not clear if PlayStation and Xbox will also be included in the initiative, although it is likely that they will be, if the rumor turns out to be true. Zippo also specified that it is not aware of which of the video games will arrive first, but only knows that they will arrive in the next year. As far as we know they could also be part of a single package.
Anyway, if the rumor is reliable, we should expect an announcement from Atlus soon, as 2022 is almost upon us. While we encourage you to take this information with a grain of salt, it must be said that it would make sense for the Sostfware house capitalize on success that the series is having in this period thanks to Persona 5.
Not to mention that the third chapter is likely to end up lost forever, since it was released for PlayStation Portable, a console for which Sony’s support has long since ceased.
