The duration of Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been revealed. Let’s find out how many hours the next Ubisoft title, due out in October, will keep us glued to the screen
In recent years, the franchise of Assassin’s Creed has become almost synonymous with bloated and very long experiences: Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla have received many accolades but also their share of criticisms, also due to the size and length and the duration that, in this Mirageit will be greatly reduced. In fact, the fact that it’s a much shorter and more condensed experience is part of why fans of the series have been so eagerly awaiting the next Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Previously, Ubisoft had stated that the game it would last roughly 15-20 hoursbut in a recent interview with French YouTuber Julien Chièze (via @AccessTheAnimus on Twitter), lead producer Fabian Salamon provided updated numbers based on recent playtests, which suggest the game will be slightly longer.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: here’s what the real duration will be
According to Salamon, recent playtests have revealed that the game will take an average of 20-24 hours to complete. Also, while those who rush through the gameplay experience and only focus on the main story will be able to finish the game in around 20 hours, those who want a longer playthrough completista may take approx 25-30 which, however, compared to the previous chapters, it is a decidedly reduced duration (that of Assassin’s Creed Mirage). Previously, it was also confirmed that the open world map Baghdad from Mirage will be roughly the size of Constantinople from Revelations and Paris from Unity.
