ASUS announces ProArt Display OLED PA32DC, the world’s first self-calibrating OLED monitor, along with new ProArt series monitors designed for creators and image professionals
The ProArt OLED PA32DC, PA32UCR-K, PA348CGV and PA279CRV displays arrive on the market to better support the work of every creator.
- ProArt OLED PA32DC: panel with pure RGB strips, 99% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit color, Delta E<1 accuracy, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, response time as low as 0.1ms, and HDR10 and Hybrid support Log-Gamma (HLG). Details on the new range of ASUS ProArt OLED displays
ASUS expands the range of displays dedicated to the world of imaging by announcing the availability in the Italian market of the ProArt OLED models PA32DC, PA32UCR-K, PA348CGV and PA279CRV. These are professional monitors that each offer specific characteristics and different technologies. But at the same time, they all aim for excellence in the visualization of images, static or in movement, qualifying themselves as precious allies of any workflow oriented towards the production of the most diverse creative contents. ProArt displays are all pre-calibrated at the factory, to ensure industry-leading color accuracy. In the case of the PA32DC the chromatic difference translates into an excess Delta E<1 value. To maintain professional-grade accuracy over the long term, the new ProArt PA32DC OLED Display uses a motorized flip-down colorimeter integrated into the top of the display. This is the world’s first OLED monitor with automatic calibration. In fact, it is equipped with an integrated, motorized and adjustable colorimeter, to ensure color accuracy of the absolute professional level. Uniform brightness setting
OLED displays are equipped with an automatic brightness limiter (Auto Brightness Limiter or ABL) to optimize energy consumption. So when viewing a white (or very bright) image in a particular window, the display automatically dims the image as the window size increases. PA32DC offers a rich set of inputs: One USB-C port, one DisplayPort 1.4 and three HDMI 2.0 ports for compatibility with all types of current or future displays and peripherals. It also features an audio jack and can also function as a USB hub, ready to integrate seamlessly into existing setups and workflows.
Design
The new ProArt PA32DC OLED Display has been designed to be used in different working environments. Includes a wraparound lid to reduce screen reflections from nearby light sources. This allows users to work in comfort, whether in the studio or directly onsite in any other location. As proof of its versatility, the new PA32DC boasts an award-winning design, having obtained several international awards such as the Red Dot Award 2022 and the Japan Good Design Award 2021.
ASUS PROART DISPLAY PA32UCR-K: the ideal 4K HDR for videomakers, cinematographers and colorists
The ProArt Display PA32UCR-K is a professional 32-inch 4K HDR panel monitor designed for the most demanding professionals and creatives. The Mini-LED backlight technology used in this monitor uses smaller LEDs than traditional panels. Thus providing up to three times the number of LEDs in a conventional panel of similar size. The benefit of this technology is significant: these densely packed mini LEDs allow for greater granularity and brightness. While individual backlight control across 576 zones ensures consistent, high brightness, up to a peak of 1000 nits. Dark tones offer unmatched depth and contrast, while ensuring accurate reproduction of colors and HDR content, for extremely rich and well-defined images.

The Delta-E value <1 confirms this monitor at the top of its category. While the integration of Quantum Dot technology enables the PA32UCR-K to support 99.5% Adobe RGB color space, 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709 and 89% Rec.2020. Also counting on the optimization of color accuracy and uniformity and on the possibility of performing the write-back of the color profile at the hardware level, both offered by the ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration technology. The VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, Calman Ready and Light Illusion complete an already so high level of equipment. As well as a large set of video outputs (three HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2) and USB ports (one USB-C port and a standard USB hub). These are in addition to the professional X-rite i1 Display Pro calibrator, already included in the package.
PROART DISPLAY PA348CGV from ASUS: the ergonomic design for a wider view
This is a 34-inch 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio UWQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution monitor, factory pre-calibrated for Delta E<2 certified color accuracy. The PA348CGV offers 98% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec. 709 color coverage with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. For viewing clear, lifelike images with vivid, accurate colors and able to ensure that every single detail. The ProArt PA348CGV’s ultra-wide QHD panel offers 2.4 times the resolution of a traditional Full HD display. However, making multitasking easier, more comfortable and more efficient throughout the workflow.

Another noteworthy element, which also ensures greater versatility of use, is represented by the variable refresh rate (VRR) of 120 Hz with FreeSync Premium Pro. PROART DISPLAY PA279CRV from ASUS: the ideal monitor for all creatives who use a laptop
Thanks to its smaller size, it is the ideal monitor for all creatives who usually use a MacBook or a Windows notebook with an external monitor. PA279CRV mounts a 27-inch IPS 4K UHD panel in 16:9 aspect ratio with wide 178° viewing angles. It also offers 99% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB color gamut. 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel offers four times the pixel density and three times more screen real estate than similarly sized FHD displays. In addition to VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification with support for the HDR10 standard, the panel is Calman Verified and factory pre-calibrated for excellent color rendering accuracy, with a Delta E<2.
Design
Also in this case, particular attention was paid to the design: for ease of use the ProArt Display PA279CRV integrates a 33% smaller space-saving base with a 30% slimmer profile, measuring just 8mm at its thinnest point.
