Asus announces Z790 series motherboards for 13th generation Intel
There are many innovations in this new series of motherboards, starting with a wider support for DDR5 memories (which were just starting to spread in the last generation). With the new feature AEMP IIRAM speeds go up to 37.5% more compared to the specifications of the DDR5-4800 standard.
Also new are the tools for AI Overclockingwhich allows you to increase the CPU clock with a single click. You can find it as standard in the cards ROG Maximus e ROG Strix Z790.
ASUS AI Cooling II, which you can manage through the FanXpert interface of the Armory Crate app, allows you to ensure that temperatures are always below the safety limits without slowing down. And the noise never exceeds 5,7 dB.
Finally, the assembly is easier thanks to the button ASUS PCIe Slot Q-Release, which makes it super easy to release the motherboard. The new design Q-DIMM for memory blocks it allows you to lock them all on one side only. And with ASUS M.2 Q-Latch (also available in Prime models) solid-state drives are also simple to assemble.
All cards come from October 20 on the Amazon shop. Here you can find more details and instead here an article to help you choose the motherboard that’s right for you.
