scarer announced the availability of the AS-T10G3 network cards, designed for i NAS rackmont of the brand and for the models of the Lockerstor Gen2 series. A card that guarantees the 10GbE connectivityfor top speed data archiving and backup.
Asustor AS-T10G3, the new 10 GbE network card
The new Asustor AS-T10G3 card allows very high speeds thanks to 10GbE connectivity. But it has the added benefit of delivering two M.2 slots for NVMe SSD drives. You can also use it as a primary RAID array cache or as a high-speed storage drive.
The card is based on the Marvell AQC113 10GbE controller and has an Ethernet port with RJ45 connector. This also allows the use of normal copper cables, to reach speeds up to 1171MB/s read and up to 1119MB/s write. Furthermore, there is full compatibility with standards 5GbE, 2.5GbE, Gigabit e 100 MbE.
Asustor explains that this network card ensures high reliability thanks to the generous aluminum heat sink. In fact, this allows you to keep the temperatures of SSD drives at the right level.
Also, to speed up and simplify board mounting operations, Asustor AS-T10G3 comes with two expansion brackets for Lockerstor Gen2 NAS already pre-installed and with a bracket kit for Asutor’s rackmount proposals.
