At CES 2022 the accessories manufacturer Kensington surprised with an incredible novelty: the new line of display per la privacy MagPro that will arrive on the futures MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches. However, details on pricing and availability have not yet been announced, which makes us really curious about it. MacBook Pro: Kensington’s new privacy displays arrive
As announced by Kensington, the new privacy displays will be fixed to the MacBook Pro through magnets. But that’s not really their peculiarity. These are in fact designed for narrow the field of view to +/- 30 degrees so that a person looking to the side only sees a dark screen, helping to ensure that sensitive information remains private. More specifically, these screens have a cutout for the notch of the 14 and 16-inch models. AND boast a reversible design with matte or glossy display options.
But that’s not Kensington’s only news for Apple. In fact, last month, the company announced that its StudioDock Now supports the 2021 version of the iPad Pro 12.9 inch. This is in fact just 0.5mm thicker than the 2020 model due to the Liquid Retina XDR display with mini-LED backlight. For the uninitiated, the Studio Dock is an iPad Pro docking station with built-in wireless charging for iPhones and AirPods, and an optional Apple Watch charger. Winner of the CES Innovation Award 2021, this station is capable of expand connectivity of the Apple device. As? Featuring three USB-A ports, a USB-C port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an SD card reader and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
