Through a press release, Koei Tecmo and GUST have released the launch trailer for Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream, direct sequel to the 2015 chapter
Announced during the Tokyo Game Show 2021, Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is the second official sequel in the GUST series, following the excellent two Atelier Ryza and Atelier Ryza 2. Elden Ring) on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, the title stands as sequel to the first Atelier Sophie released in 2015 and part of the Mystery trilogy. After leaving Kirchen Bell, Sophie’s hometown, the girl and her adventure partner Plachta discover a huge tree identical to the one she had seen in a dream. As they approach her, a mysterious vortex draws them into her, launching them into Erde Wiege’s dream world, separating them from her. Sophie then sets out in search of her best friend and returns home, meeting along the way a variety of new characters ready to join the search team.
During the journey, Sophie will explore the magic Erde Weige, a land filled with an abundance of resources and materials perfect for use in alchemy, with the classic collection points typical of the series. Once collected, the materials can be used in the synthesis system of the Atelier series, revisited for the occasion. The last chapter, in fact, uses an updated panel synthesis system in which the alchemical components are strategically placed on it to increase the quality of the final object and the levels of the effect. A different concept from the two chapters of Ryza and much more similar to the old Ateliers. On this occasion, GUST and Koei Tecmo have also disclosed a launch trailer, which we leave you below.
