Avowed is new first-person role-playing game under development by Obsidian Entertainment. The title had already shown itself to be satisfactory a few months ago trailer on gameplay but, on the occasion of the Xbox Developer Direct, they were revealed further information. Lots of gameplay ahead of the release of Avowed
During the Xbox Developer Direct we had the pleasure of witnessing a long in-depth look at the gameplay of Avowed. The sequences shown mainly focused on the combat and they allowed us to discover some of the many options that can be used in combat. Obviously the classics are present sidearms, but if you want you can also challenge magic wands and even guns. Additionally players will have the option to save several loadouts to quickly switch between during battles, thus allowing him to adapt to various situations in an instant.
In addition to the combat system, however, it was also shown a small side quest. In this mission the protagonist found himself talking to a fleeing soldier and, based on the lines of dialogue chosenit was possible to resolve the situation peacefully or with violence.
Players will surely have enjoyed all these gameplay sequences, but they will be even happier knowing that they won’t have to wait too long before playing them firsthand. In fact, during the presentation it was also announced that Avowed is scheduled for release in fall 2024. This means that in a maximum of 8 or 9 months we will finally have the chance to try this new Obsidian title.
