Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and ILCA Inc. are pleased to announce the creation of a new company with the name Bandai Namco Aces Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has increased its production proficiency with iconic series such as TEKKEN and ACE COMBATwhile ILCA, Inc. has the technical capabilities to produce high-quality content using cutting-edge technologies.

We also report how the new Bandai Namco Aces studio is owned by the 51% of Bandai Namco and the remaining 49% belongs to ILCA, with this deep alliance that will allow the Japanese company to produce content for consoles and PCs characterized by a much higher quality than in the past. With the recent notable growth of the global gaming market, the demand for more high-end games is on the rise. On this basis, in order to deliver high-end games that exceed the expectations of fans around the world, we have decided to found a new company to strengthen our ability to develop games in a hyper-photorealistic way.
Under the name of “Aces”, as a representation of who is the best or the leader in each field, the new studio will leverage the expertise of both companies and will continue to produce deep, high-quality and long-lasting content, including content for the ACE COMBAT series. Currently not much is known about the upcoming Ace Combat, except that it was developed on Unreal Engine 5. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has sold over three million copies since its launch in January 2019.
