Our lists are based on the list price or in any case on the price available in the main distribution chains, without discounts applied. During promotional periods such as Black Friday e Cyber Monday, as well as in the days before Christmas, prices may undergo decreases which will be to our advantage.

For convenience we have decided to focus on five price ranges, so as to adapt the selection to any type of wallet or need. Mainly we will see smartphones with an operating system Android, given that the various models of iPhone they are all in the last range because of the price. Let’s get started right away.

Best smartphone under 200 euros

Let’s start with the lowest end of the market, namely smartphones around 100 euros, those dedicated to those who have no great demands and want to save as much as possible.

Realme it’s a pretty new brand. This doesn’t mean you should underestimate it – the company is leading the way with its low-priced products and great specs. In particular Realme 8, for sale in € 199 in the 4/64 GB version and € 229 in the 6/128 GB version, comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G95 processor and a 64 megapixel main camera that is flanked by the 8 MP wide angle, the 2 MP macro and a 2 MP sensor dedicated to the bokeh effect .

We finally arrive at the threshold of the mid-range, the one where everyone is trying to position themselves by offering an affordable price and slightly more thrusting features. But which is the best 2020 smartphone with these features? As always, the contenders are different.

To characterize it an excellent AMOLED screen, an above average camera, excellent autonomy and obviously a competitive price: the version of Redmi Note 10 Pro from 6/64 GB costs 299€ while we go up to 329 € for the 6/128 GB one and to 349 € for the 8/128 GB one.

Little X3

It just came out but it is already a must buy. Little X3, with its 6.67 ″ display, its 120 Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 732G processor, it is perfect for video game lovers without requiring huge financial effort. You can take the 6/64 GB version home with you at 229 euro as we go up to 269 euro for that 6/128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy M31

Samsung Galaxy M31 combines an excellent AMOLED display with convincing hardware. Let’s not forget the 6,000 mAh maxi-battery that allows you to cover two days without major difficulties. If you love the Korean giant but don’t want to spend a fortune, this is the phone for you. The price? 279 euro.

Best smartphone under 500 euros

In this range we can indulge ourselves with many products. The mid-range has always been the most varied and well-stocked one, and has recently been enriched with a new competitor ready to defeat it, because it is not an Android device.

Who would have thought, a low cost iPhone really exists. Aesthetically it is very similar to iPhone but don’t be fooled: inside we find the latest generation A13 Bionic processor present on the iPhone 11 Pro in addition to the same main photo sensor. Top performances are really guaranteed, you can go with your eyes closed.

OnePlus Nord 2 is the mid-range of the Chinese company but has very little to envy to the top of the range. The smartphone of the Chinese company comes with an excellent 90 Hz display, a performing hardware, a good battery and a really interesting camera. TO 399 euro it’s surely a deal to be missed, if you find it discounted, do not hesitate!

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite

Realme X2 Pro

A definitely price interesting, that is 449€, by a top of the range really well equipped. We have excellent build quality, accompanied by a nice display with 90 Hz refresh rate, top performance guaranteed by the Snapdragon 855+ and a really convincing camera.

Realme GT

Realme GT 5G it’s a true flagship killer: high-quality screen, top-of-the-range hardware, ultra-fast charging and an interesting camera. On board then you also have the always useful 3.5 mm jack. Finally, we come to the top of the range that wink at savings. In short, the less recent ones or in any case able to remain under the fateful threshold of 1000 euros.
