After the recent appearance of the game on the Xbox marketplaces, Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition was officially revealed and Ubisoft. The Twitter profile dedicated to the sequel has confirmed that the game will be released at the beginning of 2024, and that we will also have other news on the matter within the same window. In subsequent posts, the IP’s official account talked about how the game had mistakenly become available to “some” Ubisoft+ subscribers. However, this was a “preliminary development version” and, as such, not indicative of the quality of the final game. However the publisher intends dedicate yourself body and soul to “an experience that honors the legacy of the original,” created in its time by Michel “Rayman” Ancel.
An early development version of Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition was recently released to some Ubisoft+ subscribers by mistake. We apologize for any confusion and want to assure our community that this version is not indicative of the final game.

An Anniversary Edition with a kiss (green): Ubisoft returns to honor Beyond Good & Evil
Although the game has disappeared from the Xbox marketplace, the original description spoke of support for 4K a 60 frames per second. We can also expect automatic saves, cross-saves, an “Anniversary Gallery” that dissects the secrets and development (or development secrets) of the game, and finally a speedrun mode. Naturally graphics, controls and audio will also receive improvements. The platforms have not been officially confirmed, but the ESRB rating (the American PEGI, in this case) mentions PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. We could expect a World Premiere… sorry, an ai trailer Game Awards the night of December 7. We just have to be patient.
We’re excited to announce that the official launch is set for early 2024, and we’re dedicated to making it an experience that truly honors the legacy of the original. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
