The agreement signed between the Indian giant Tata Technologies and the German automotive group BMW provides for a new joint-venture, with which they will create new technologies. These new developments concern in particular theITi.e. on the IT side, and above all the automotive sector, to create new ones digital cars. The agreement, in addition to the development of this new joint venture, also provides for the opening of new offices in the Indian country. Specifically, the BMW locations that will be opened in India in collaboration with Tata Technologies will be Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. In the first two cities, the main development objectives are based on research and development of new digital cars, with autonomous driving and new infotainment as the focus. At the latest location, in Chennai, workers will rely primarily on the development of new IT solutions, that is, technologies specifically designed to make these new cars work which, over time, will become increasingly digital. At the beginning, in the team, there will be well 100 experienced workers from Tata Technologies teamto build the foundations on which they will then work to create these new digital solutions to revolutionize the automotive sector.
