Famous for his zombie movies, director Yeon Sang-ho is about to return in a new guise, with Buried Legacy, let’s discover the trailer
Although the name Yeon Sang-ho it might tell you little, perhaps for some of you the title Train to Busan might sound familiar. In fact, it is one of the most famous Korean films in our country, with a zombie theme and Yeon Sang-ho is the director. Now the latter is about to land on Netflix with a new series, entitled Buried legacy (The Bequeathed in the rest of the world). Let’s find out the plot, cast, trailer and release date.

At the center of the plot of this new series is a woman and a cemetery, inherited by her. There synopsis reads:
Yoon Seo-ha is a teacher who hopes to get a promotion to full professor at the faculty where she works. Upon the death of an unknown uncle, she discovers that she is the only heir to the family cemetery and is forced to deal with the memory of a father who disappeared from her life several years before her. Meanwhile, her half-brother Kim Young-ho, who for Seo-ha is just the son of an unfaithful father who abandoned her, demands a share of her inheritance and creates havoc at her funeral. A legacy that brings to light a past that she would have preferred to forget. As if that weren’t enough, some sinister events fill her with anxiety. Detective Choi Sung-jun, busy investigating a murder, guided by instinct and the strange behavior of the locals, immediately understands that the case is more complicated than expected, but chief inspector Park Sang-min does not approve of his methods and decides to relieve him of his duties. Sang-min’s investigation into Seo-ha, Young-ho and the other people linked to the cemetery also seems to reach a dead end, until a new murder shocks the town.

Release date
As you may have guessed, the new series has little in common with the director’s previous projects. This does not mean that this series cannot give the viewer a lot of tension.
