Activision confirms that Call of Duty 2021 will be developed by Sledgehammer Games
During the recent convention organized by Activision e Blizzard just to present their next projects, not only did the confirmation plans to release a new premium version of Call of Duty, but also the news that the realization of this is already underway at the software house Sledgehammer Games. It is not the first time that this company is preparing to develop a game in the series: important chapters of the franchise have their signature such as Modern Warfare III e Advanced Warfare.
Call of Duty 2021: what to expect from the game developed by Sledgehammer
Sledgehammer herself, immediately after the official announcement of their involvement in the realization of the new Call of Duty, expressed her own enthusiasm through their official Twitter account. In the same message, the company says it can’t wait to reveal more details about the video game it is making.

Some information on the title have already been provided by Dan Alegre, the president of Activision, during the same event of presentation of the title. The manager revealed that Sledgehammer is working to make the new 2021 Call of Duty an experience at the level of new generation. Alegra also announced that the game should hit the market as early as next fall, but did not provide a precise date.
There is no information on the influence that this new title will have on Call of Duty Warzone but, also seen as different elements of Black Ops Cold War have been integrated into the battle royale, it is easy to imagine that even in this case the release of a new paid title will be accompanied by a update to the free to play affiliate. For a confirmation of this, however, we should wait for the next communication from Activision and Sledgehammer.
