The rumors “attacked”: the 2024 Call of Duty could be a Black Ops focused on the Gulf War, at least it seems
From what we have understood, the annual roadmap of Call of Duty is back at full speed and criticism of Modern Warfare 3 certainly won’t stop it: in 2024 a new chapter awaits us, and the details emerged from rumor they see a return of the branch Black Ops in addition to Gulf War as a central theme. This was revealed by a report from Windows Central. According to published details, the sixth episode of the spy-like branch of the saga Activision will have again Treyarch at the reins. The current code name is Cerberus, but the rumor mill has a more self-explanatory Gulf War as the subtitle. And the plot already promises to be tough.
Call of Duty 2024 is the first title in Call of Duty history to have a 4 year development cycle.

The Gulf War plays dirty in the future of Call of Duty: a Black Ops coming in 2024?
The game, always according to the presumed information leak, will talk about the CIA and “will examine the role of the United States in the conflict,” as well as its consequences at the end of the Cold War. It won’t be a monochromatic narrative either, given the thousand complex facets entailed by default by the historically accurate war setting. The title will be the longest development cycle ever seen for a Treyarch creation, that is, no less than four years as you can see in the tweet above. All excellent news, therefore, if we count the “seven-week” gestation of Modern Warfare 3. Be careful, however: the rumor also alludes to a greater emphasis on bonuses for pre-orders.
