“In your head, in your head”, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode is as real as ever in the game’s latest trailer
We compliment your good musical taste if you have read our title singing, but apart from the cheap quotes the latest trailer by Activision for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 finally showed the Zombies mode of the game. In this secondary mode, various operators from all over the world assist the good old Task Force 141. The aim, in case it wasn’t clear, is to make a clean sweep of the living dead unleashed by the enemy. We will therefore team up with other, well, teams in the largest map the series has ever dedicated to the deceased whose only missing death is that of a bullet in the snout. Maps aside, the mode also brings with it missions and secrets. Obviously, this does not mean that the game will also lack more traditional options, both for single player and multiplayer. The main campaign, we remember, will see Captain Price and his comrades in arms face the ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode features modernized versions of all sixteen classic maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009). New modes and related gameplay features also await us. Six-on-six maps will be used in post-launch “seasons.” The game, out on November 10thsupports NVIDIA DLSS 3, but on the ray tracing front all is silent.
