For 38 consecutive years, Canon has been confirmed in the top 5 of the prestigious ranking drawn up by IFI Claims Patent Services which, on an annual basis, brings together the 50 main assignees of technological patents issued in the United States. This is an absolute record: Canon is in fact the only company in the world to have achieved such a milestone. And if in 2013 the giant, leader in the world of imaging, placed fifth globally, it continues to stand out on the top step of the podium in the ranking among Japanese companies. A record held for 19 years without interruption.
