Shortly before the start of the Bahrain GP there was a press conference where the future of the career of Carlos Sainz, the almost thirty-year-old Spanish driver, was discussed. The pilot promotes the SF-24 but tells us nothing about the future of his career
The lack of a renewal contract for the Spanish driver Carlos Sainz Jr. had already been discussed for some time, an issue that is still unclear but which already predicted a negative outcome for the driver born in Madrid in 1994. Unfortunately, in the end, as expected, Ferrari did not renew the contract and the future of Carlos Sainz’s career still remains uncertain. Shortly before starting the Bahrain GP, the driver had his say about the new one SF-24 of Ferrari, promoting his current team for which he will stop racing at the end of the season. Sainz’s contract for the Errant Horse team in fact expires at the end of 2024.
How will Carlos Sainz’s career continue?
Although Sainz is aware that his chapter with Ferrari is over, however, he did not limit himself in promoting the Italian team. Indeed, the driver is focusing a lot on the new single-seater, the SF-24, and has confessed that he is very obstinate and that he will give the best he has ever given in his entire career with Ferrari. He knows their relationship is about to end, but wants to give a worthy ending to this chapter of its history. Sainz spoke about his future, about what he will do after Ferrari.
However, his answers were very vague, he didn’t give us any clues as to what he intends to do after Ferrari, even though there will be no shortage of contract proposals for him. Sainz simply stated that will choose the new contract very carefully and will continue to try to realize the dream he has always wanted to realize since he was a child: become world champion.
