Looking forward to the Italian theatrical release of OppenheimerWorld of Reel, in collaboration with 120 film critics, decided to fight the wait, drafting the ranking of the best films of director Christopher Nolan. An excellent starting point on which to build, especially for those who have not yet known all of his works and to find out which films are absolutely not to be missed. Let’s find out which film is the winner.
The winning film | Christopher Nolan: critics elected his best film
Perhaps many of you will expect it, others will be very undecided, still others will not agree, but the film that won first place in the ranking of the best films by Christopher Nolan is The dark Knight. The film, released in 2008, managed to rout the competition, taking first place. Thanks to the “superhero factor” that is so fashionable today, but also (and above all) the presence of the unforgettable Heath Ledgerwho just before leaving gave us an extraordinary interpretation of the Joker.
The ranking then continues with other very successful films: Memento, Dunkirk, The Prestige e Inception. In sixth place we find instead the feature film that we Italians are anxiously waiting for, that is Oppenheimer, already present in the ranking, because it is already available in foreign cinemas. The new release managed to beat even great classics from Nolan’s filmography, such as Interstellar e Batman Begins. A position that certainly bodes well for those who, like us, want to rush to the theater to discover this new and exciting story, based on the physicist J Robert Oppenheimer, his work and the events that led to the tragic development of the atomic bomb. Here is the complete ranking:
The Dark Knight (2008)
Memento (2000)
Dunkirk (2017)
The Prestige (2006)
Inception (2010)
Oppenheimer (2023)

Following (1998)
