Cisco returns to the field to offer professional training to young people with DevNet Learning Lab, the latest initiative of the company. It is a virtual laboratory online dedicated to the world of programming e aimed at students of the last year of high school, university, people who work in ICT and enthusiasts. DevNet Learning Lab, the new virtual lab from Cisco
Introduced as a new Hour of Code resource, Cisco’s new virtual lab will begin at December 2021 and will end at May 2022.
The DevNet Learning Lab offer includes three training levels, united in the new path “Design your Bot. IoT and Network Automation”Which leads to the acquisition of the skills necessary to develop applications based on Artificial Intelligence. The course is divided into three levels:
- The basic level, accessible to all, includes the introductory course of the Cisco Networking Academy dedicated to the Internet of Things. It is a first “taste” of 20 hours of online training, at the end of which a certificate and a digital badge are issued;
- Basic Programming Course of 35 hours on the Python language which also prepares to obtain an “entry level” certification (CPEP);
- The third level it is finally represented by the course of 8 ore from Cisco DevNet Associate, dedicated to learning the basics of programming application interfaces (API) towards Cisco’s Webex Teams collaboration solutions.
Thanks to this last level it is possible to become part of DevNet, the Cisco developer community, for practical and training activities also supported by tutors, individual or group, and for the development of projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Network Automation.
