New rumors arrive on the highly anticipated CoD Warzone 2: this time the leakers have talked about an alleged new Resurgence map. Here are the details
The campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently available for pre-order in digital version and all console players will be able to preload the full game as of the time of this writing. Yes: even more content should arrive next year. The leaker Ghost of Hope reported on Twitter that Beenox and Toys for Bob are developing one Resurgence map for CoD Warzone 2. According to reports, the release is expected in the middle of 2023. Infinity Ward and Raven Software are also involved, with the first studio “dealing with the narrative aspect” while the second “focusing on gameplay ideas”.

Resurgence is a slightly different experience from the classic battle royale. The map is smaller and there are no gulags. Allies respawn after a period, which increases with each new safe zone. Fulfill killings reduces the timer respawnsbut any team that loses allies will end up with their own exposed position in the ever-vigilant eyes of the entire opposing team. In short, a tighter and more frenetic experience that rewards aggression.
Several rumors have reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should include a paid map pack at the end of 2023 with maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and previous games in the series.
