Raven Software has just released the details of the latest CoD Warzone update that fixes an annoying bug and more
After having somehow generated a very annoying bug, known as the “door killer”Among the community, Raven has introduced a new update of CoD: Warzone that nerfs the popular MG 82 and solves the problem of the door capable of killing players instantly. CoD Warzone: the update fixes the “killer door” bug and modifies the stats of the MG 82 LMG
In recent days, the unfortunate players of CoD Warzone have experienced the devastating effects of a bug solved with the last update. Anyone who has ventured into the salt mine map knows what we are referring to: one of the doors in the area, unthinkably, was capable of killing players who passed through it. The absurd bug, possibly related to the Red Door fast travel system introduced with the Season 4, it’s finally just a (bad) memory.
The title changes Raven made are not limited to this. L’MG 82 LMG from the beginning of Season 4 it managed to quickly establish itself as one of the most popular weapons among the record game community.
The weapon has become so widespread, in fact, that Raven has decided to bring it a nerf:
We had envisioned the MG 82 (BOCW) as a short- and medium-range light machine gun given its relatively fast handling, mobility and rate of fire. However, the weapon also retained many powerful LMG traits such as damage profile, bullet speed, and magazine size, all while having negligible recoil. These factors combined have created one of the most devastating weapons in Verdansk. Don’t be fooled by the magnitude of these changes. Damage per magazine and rate of fire is still at a high level, so we expect the MG 82 to remain popular.
And that’s not all; there also appear to be changes in how perks work in the game:
We are exploring all possible ways in terms of modifications to provide “fair” and “reactive” benefits to Dead Silence. A decision like this must be taken with care especially considering how it could destabilize other aspects of the game. We can’t promise anything right now, but as we get closer to an appropriate solution, we’ll share more details.
Maybe someday soon we will see Raven launch a new season of Call of Duty Warfare without having to backtrack on the various additions.
