Microsoft has announced new features of Copilot per Bingthe artificial intelligence assistant that can help users find information, answer questions and generate creative content.
The announcement came through a post on the Microsoft blog, signed by Yusuf Mehdi, Executive Vice President, Consumer Chief Marketing Office.
What’s new in Bing Copilot
Here are the main news:
- GPT-4 Turbo – Copilot will soon be able to generate responses using OpenAI’s latest model, GPT-4 Turbo, which will allow it to tackle more complex and time-consuming tasks. This model is currently being tested for a select group of users and will be widely integrated into Copilot in the coming weeks.
- New DALL-E 3 model – Now you can use Copilot to create even higher quality, more precise images with the new DALL-E 3. These features are available now by visiting bing.com/create or by asking Copilot to create an image.
- Inline composition with rewriting menu – With Copilot, Microsoft Edge users can write easily from most websites. Simply select the text you want to edit and ask Copilot to rewrite it. It will soon be available to all Edge users.
- Multi-Modal with Search Grounding – Microsoft is combining the power of GPT-4 with Bing image search and web search data. The purpose is to provide a better understanding of images for search queries. This new feature will be available in the near future.
- Code interpreter – A new feature that will allow you to perform complex operations (such as more accurate calculations, coding, data analysis, visualization, mathematics and more). In the post, Microsoft writes: “We are collecting feedback on these features from a select group of users and plan to make them widely available soon.”
- Deep Research – Coming to Bing, Deep Search leverages the power of GPT-4 to deliver optimized search results for complex topics. Enabling Deep Search expands search queries into more complete descriptions to provide more relevant results. More information is available on our Bing blog.
