Points to score for a competitive experience to dream of: Crash Team Rumble, after years and years of rumors, is finally available!
The time spent in unnerving waiting, for marsupial fans, was undoubtedly interminable, but Crash Team Rumbleafter giving the speculative scene enough time to carve its working name Wumpa League in marble, it is available. The gameplay that we have come to love for years (Radical Entertainment duology permitting) now returns in a competitive key, winking at both platforming enthusiasts and MOBA lovers. We therefore face each other in teams of four, with as many consoles to choose from. The title is in fact usable on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S ed Xbox One. The aim is always the same: to secure the Wumpa fruits collected during the various games. And if the nostalgia for the 90s wasn’t enough, the Italian match reporter is the legendary Pietro Ubaldi.
Crash Team Rumble, an incredible competitive spinoff now available
Compared to the “Everyone is Here” concept with which Racing: Nitro-Fueled ended, the initial roster available in Crash Team Rumble is limited to the essentials. The playable heroes are the eponymous Crash, his sister Coco, the evil Neo Cortex and Nitrus Brio and, drawing liberally from the incarnations seen in It’s About Time, also Dingodile, Tawna and N. Tropy. There is also the first non-binary entity of the franchise, that is Catbat. However, just like the characters, the first nine arenas also intend to flesh out the numbers with additional content that will be released in installments over the course of the various seasons. In the next one, for example, the bosses Ripper Roo and N. Gin will make their playable debut “on foot”. Exclusive moves for each hero can make them a Marker, Defender, or Booster. The important thing is to collect as many Wumpa Fruits as possible!
