James Gunn’s brother, Sean Gunn, has confirmed the release date of Creature Commandos, the animated series that will begin the reboot of the DC cinematic universe
Many think that the DCU begins with Superman: Legacybut in reality it will be Creature Commandos to open the dance and there will also be Anya Chalotra who will be an opponent of Wonder Woman. Now, we finally have a release date for Creature Commandos, which Sean Gunn, the director’s brother and executive, has revealed. DCU James Gunn. In the animated series we will see seven members of the team at the center of the plot: we will find Rick Flag Sr. (the father of Rick Flag, who we saw in Gunn’s Suicide Squadd film, played by Joel Kinnaman), Nina Mazursky, Dr. Phosphorus, Eric Frankenstein, G.I. Robot, Weasel (also played by Sean Gunn in the second Suicide Squad film) and the main character, the Bride of Frankenstein.
Cast and release date of Creature Commandos
In the animated series that will open the dance to the DCU, the cast will be made up of actors that we have also seen in the MCU. Let’s find Frank Grillo (Crossbones in the Captain America films) as Rick Flag Sr., Maria Bakalova in the role of Princess Ilana Rostovic, Zoë Chao as Nina Mazursky, Alan Tudyk in the role of Dottor Phosphorusthen we have another Marvel star, David Harbour (Hopper in Stranger Things e Red Guardian in Black Widow) nei panni di Frankenstein, Indira Varma as the Bride of Frankenstein and finally Sean Gunn who will play both GI Robot and Weasel. The latter revealed during an interview at the Saturn Awards for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which won the award for best comic book of the year, has revealed the release date of Creature Commandos. He confirmed that will be released in the fallwithout however releasing a precise release date.
