Cruella – Disney live action on one of the most iconic villains of all time – will be available from August 27 in the Disney + catalog, at no additional cost. In the cast, Emma Stone and Emma Thompson.
The cruel (Cruella) was one of the protagonist films of the reopening of theaters in Italy. Released on May 28, it was made available two days later on the Disney + platform with VIP access.
After the live action on Mulan and the animated film Raya and the last dragon, the film dedicated to one of the most iconic villains of all time was the first Disney product to be released simultaneously in theaters and in streaming.
A decision that divided the public and exhibitors, but which certainly proved to be a winner. And, as happened with the other titles (which were also followed by Black Widow and Jungle Cruise) Cruella will finally be available to all subscribers, at no additional cost, after about two months from its theatrical release, ie from 27 August.

The film – presented as a real prequel to The 101 Dalmatians – tells the adventures of the young woman Estella, a brilliant and brilliant girl with the dream of becoming a stylist. But, as can also be seen from the official synopsis, his life will take a decidedly unexpected turn:
Set during the punk rock revolution in 1970s London, Cruella follows the story of a young scammer named Estella, determined to make a name for herself with her creations. He befriends a couple of young thieves who appreciate his penchant for meanness and together manage to build a life on the streets of London. One day, Estella’s talent for fashion catches the attention of Baroness Von Hellman, a legend of chic and refined fashion. But their relationship sets in motion a series of events and revelations that lead Estella to embrace her evil side and become the bursting, hip and vengeful Cruella.
In the role of the protagonist we find Emma Stone, in one of the best performances of his career, sewn on by the director Greg Gillespie, former author of the crazy biopic dedicated to the controversial story of figure skater Tonya Harding (Tonya). Next to her, one that is always perfect Emma Thompson in the role of the Baroness and the young people Joel Fry e Paul Walter Hauser in those of Jasper and Horace.
The young Cruella is reborn from the ashes of her animated counterpart and is ready to transform into one young rebel and nonconformist, who claims his madness and his desire for revenge as an integral part of his genius.
