Two new products arrive from Barcelona for all motor lovers: the new versions of CUPRA Formentor e CUPRA Leon, redesigned and improved, with also new plug-in hybrid versions. Two cars with different lines but with a clear character in common.
CUPRA unveils the new Formentor and Leon (also in hybrid version)
The new exterior includes the CUPRA logo on the front hood, the central point of the shark-shaped nose for an aggressive look with its triangular matrix LED lights and the lower mouth large and bold.
The interior has newly developed elements, such as the central console and new sustainable materials. Digitalisation is the driver's focus, with a new and improved HMI implemented in the digital dashboard and 12.9″ infotainment system. Both have a 12-speaker high-fidelity system, developed with Sennheiser Mobility.
The range of engines includes four different technologies: TSI (petrol), mild hybrid (eTSI), TDI (diesel) and eHybrid (plug-in hybrid). The new generation plug-in hybrid delivers 272 hp (200 kW), offering over 100 km of all-electric range. And it is now also compatible with fast charging (up to 50 kW DC charging). Furthermore, CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon Sportstourer in petrol version offer up to 333PS (245kW) of power, with Akebono brakes.
During the world premiere of the new CUPRA Formentor and CUPRA Leon, the brand also announced the creation of CUPRA Designa new independent design house that will also work with companies that connect with the brand's philosophy and wish to incorporate the CUPRA style into their products.
