Good news continues to arrive for fans of the Man Without Fear: the actors of the original Netflix series have been spotted on the streets of New York, proving that Foggy Nelson and Karen Page will also return in Daredevil Born Again!
Filming began again a few days ago Daredevil Born Again and Foggy and Karen, aka the best friend and girlfriend of Matt Murdock, are back! But not only that, the characters will be played once again by Deborah Ann Woll, seen in God Of War Ragnarok (find the review here) and Elden Henson. Filming restarted after the writers’ and actors’ strike, so if the series was initially scheduled for spring 2024, we will now have to wait until 2025.
The return of Foggy and Karen in Daredevil Born Again
As you can see from the video, the series continues the story of the Netflix series, where we last saw the trio decide to open a law firm together. After having rewritten the episodes and made the original TV series canonical, in fact, Foggy and Karen are also back and this will certainly be a great joy for the fans. The two characters, in the original series, were not simple side characters, but they were fundamentals for the story and they were divinely written, along with all the others, and the actors gave a mind-blowing performance. Seeing the same actors again in the role of their respective characters is certainly a great pleasure and it seems that we are about to have all the cast that we have grown to love back.
They will return to the cast Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Jon Bernthal e Wilson Bethel. Among the new entries we have Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, Margarita Levieva, Hunter Doohan, Geneia Walton, Clark Johnson and Arty Froushan. The only character that got a recast was Vanessa Fishwhich will no longer be played by Ayelet Zurerbut from Sandrine Holt. Jeffrey Nachmanoff, Clark Johnson e David Boyd have been chosen as directors, but the remaining episodes will be filmed by Justin Benson e Aaron Moorhead (directors of Moon Knight and the second season of Loki). Dario Scardapane instead he will be the showrunner, while Matt Corman e Chris Ord they will be executive producers. The series will be released in early months of 2025.
