The producer Marina Cicogna will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award in the next David di Donatello 2023. On air next May 10th; the ceremony of the most prestigious awards of Italian cinema
The recognition of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award will be delivered to the manufacturer Marina Stork during the 68th edition of the David di Donatello 2023. The announcement came from the same Piera Detassis, (President and Artistic Director of the Academy of Italian Cinema The decision); together with the Board of Directors made up of important figures from the world of Italian cinema, such as: Francesco Giambrone, Francesco Rutelli, Nicola Borrelli, Francesca CimaEdoardo De Angelis, Domenico Dinoia, Valeria GolinoGiancarlo Leone, Luigi Lonigro, Mario Lorini and Francesco Ranieri Martinotti.

Like the President and Director herself Piera Detassis declare; Marina Stork represents one of the cornerstones of the history of cinema and Italian costume. Marina Cicogna, undoubtedly marked the history of our cinematography and costume. Chic rebel, pioneer in a job, that of the producer, all male, ambassador of our cinema, Cicogna shone for his genius in identifying non-conforming talents and gave us cinema history titles such as The pawnbroker and Belle de jour, Once upon a time in the West, Theorem, Investigation of a citizen above suspicion, The working class goes to Heaven, Mimì Metallurgico and Put, one evening at dinner. A David for Lifetime Achievement that we are honored to deliver to a unique and visionary woman.
The recognition will be awarded during the well-known evening broadcast on Rai1 on 10 May, presented by Charles Conti joined by the young actress Matilde Gioli.
