Through a press release, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have released an extended gameplay trailer of Dead Island 2, lasting 15 minutes: let’s find out all the details together
After a development that defining troubled would be a compliment, we are now very close to the release of Dead Island 2. Although it risked becoming vaporware and disappearing in the maze of the internet and the various development studio changes it underwent, the final title was created by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver and will arrive on April 21 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Dead Island 2 is a first-person action RPG set in a hellish, yet stylish and vibrant, blood-soaked version of Los Angeles dubbed HELL-A.

Less than two months after the release of the title, Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver have unveiled a new trailer for the game that allows you to take an in-depth look at the gameplay and action present in the opening bars of the title in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Equipped with an array of weapons, each with their own uniquely brutal fighting style and endless loadout possibilities, Huntress Dani encounters zombies Standard (Walker, Stagger, Runner) Variants (Walker Grenadier) and Alpha (Hyper Mutate Zombies) all with unique powers and behaviors. Dani the Huntress | Dead Island 2 Extended Gameplay Trailer Released!
Hailing from County Cork in Ireland, Dani is tough yet level-headed – a unique slayer trait that is well suited to an agile fighting style. Her mission? Reach the Halperin Hotel. Players will also be able to combine a powerful set of Skill Cards, to improve their skills and adapt them to their style of play, assisting Dani as she works her way through the first part of the game. Dambuster Studios’ dismemberment technology, known as FLESH (Fully Locational Evisceration System for Humanoids), means that crushing bones, slicing zombies and melting flesh has never been more satisfying. As an infected but somewhat immune slayer, you can finally understand what happens when hunters activate their corrupted DNA to use Fury Mode.
