The Dead Space remake is one of the most anticipated big returns from gamers and has recently leaked new rumors about the release period. The development team believes in the latest statements that a great job is coming out and they are all thrilled to show the public the progress made so far. Although it was never publicly announced, according to VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, Electronic Arts originally aimed to release the game in October 2022 but lately something has changed the plans.

Also according to Jeff Grubb, the release period of the Dead Space remake is postponed from October 2022 to early 2023. Electronic Arts has not released any comments regarding this new rumor but considering the importance of the project, it is plausible to postpone the release of the title to make it better. This postponement will in fact allow the development team to use the extra time to refine the game and to “amaze” the fans. The ultimate goal of the developers is to have a remake similar to Resident Evil 2 (2019) in terms of quality.
Along with the visual enhancements, the title will feature a new dismemberment of necromorphs much more precise and satisfying, and a complete change to zero-gravity play zones. Surely thanks to the livestream of today’s developers we will have more information about the game and we will finally be able to see it in action. We just have to wait for the event to get new information about it and remember that the remake of Dead Space is in development for the Xbox Series X / S, PS5 and PC.
