Dell did not miss the CES 2022, the annual Las Vegas fair dedicated to technology and for the occasion unveiled its new top-of-the-range laptop, XPS 13 Plus. This device stands out in all respects from the last generation of the company, first of all thanks to a rather particular design and then for the performances that satisfy from every point of view. Let’s take a closer look at it.
Dell introduces XPS 13 Plus
In the first place, what immediately catches the eye of XPS 13 Plus is the design change, as the device now features a significantly slimmer profile, having eliminated the bezels around the display. This is a minor modification, but it contributes to making the whole model much more elegant than in the past. In this regard, the keyboard is also renewed, presenting a touch bar at the top.
According to what was declared by Dell, one of the strengths of this PC lies in its autonomy: the battery is in fact able to recharge by 80% in less than an hour overall, thanks to the technology Express Charge 2.0. As for the display, however, this provides a panel YOU ARE with resolution 4K +, equipped with technology Eyesafe.
Much attention has been paid by the company to the appearance of the construction materials. This new incarnation of XPS 13 Plus is in fact made with 100% recyclable aluminum, which proves how much Dell is working to reduce the environmental impact of its products. This interesting top of the range will be launched in Platinum and Graphite colors and its debut on the market is scheduled for spring 2022.
In this regard, there will be variants with Windows 11 and Ubuntu 20.04. In short, if you are looking for a new laptop that can ensure good performance and functionality, this model is undoubtedly one to keep an eye on.
